Shots have been fired inside London's Brixton Academy during a performance by the American rapper Nas. The husband of pop star Kelis was performing at the south London venue when shots rang out at about 2200 GMT.
It is believed a man jumped up on stage and fired a weapon towards the crowd during the show, which was the finale of a UK promotional tour. The venue was evacuated by police, but Scotland Yard said officers had not yet found anyone who had been injured...
No confirmation yet of the reports that as everyone fled from the shooting, Nas was heard boasting that he had made everyone look, which he apparently believed would make the audience "slaves" to the pages in his rhyme book.

Pharrell Williams recently announced that The Neptunes' alternative alter ego, N.E.R.D. called it quits due to management conflicts at Virgin Records.
Williams recently told BBC Radio 1 that the group, which includes his production partner Chad Hugo and third member Shay, is disbanding.
"N*E*R*D is dead. I don't agree with the management at Virgin Records so we're done. Me and Chad still do what we do in the studio, Shay is still our best friend, you know, perhaps we'll do some music for our fans and leak it to the Internet or something, who knows," Pha-Real told BBC Radio 1. "I've been very quiet about it for the last two years. I'm not here to slander or throw dirt, I'm just not happy so therefore N*E*R*D is expired."
The Neptunes will continue to work as a production team. Virgin Records were unavailable for comment.

Ex-Fugees Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean roused appetites for a Fugees reunion yet again when the duo reunited onstage at a charity concert Friday (March 18) for victims of the South Asian tsunamis. About 15,000 people attended the seven-hour concert at Stadium Putra in Malaysia, the Associated Press reported. "This is history in the making," Jean reportedly stated. "Do you all understand what's happening on this stage? I'm too emotional right now." In addition, Jean gave a touching tribute to tsunami victims when he chanted "we'll never forget the tsunami victims," then requested that the stadium lights be turned off. The audience then proceeded to wave lighted cell phones in the dark arena. Hill and Jean sang "Killing Me Softly," "Ready or Not" and "Fu-Gee-La" from the Fugees' 1996 album, The Score. The charity concert was organized by Force of Nature and raised more than $2.6 million to rebuild communities in Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India ravaged by the tsunami disasters last December.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - At least 21 people have been killed and dozens missing and feared drowned after a tsunami triggered by a huge earthquake struck Malaysia's northern coast, officials say. Most of those killed were swept out to sea as they picnicked at the popular Batu Ferringhi beach on the resort island of Penang. "Seven more are still missing in the area," Penang Civil Defence Director Mohamad Johari Mohamad Taufik told Reuters. Officials said dozens more were people missing from a fishing village in the neighbouring state of Kedah after three 3-metre high (9-ft) waves hit the coast from around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Many fishermen were also feared missing after the wave hit the western coast of Penang, Mohamad Johari said. "Many fishing boats had gone out to sea this morning and not all have returned. There are still some out there," he said. More than 60 people were injured, police and rescue officials said. Penang is popular with Western and local visitors and hotels in the area are normally packed during the peak year-end holiday season. Thousands of residents of high-rise buildings poured into the streets across the west coast of peninsula Malaysian, frightened after tremors followed the huge early morning earthquake that struck off the coast of neighbouring Indonesia.
